A quick word of thanks to everyone who's e-mailed me about the site over the past couple of years since it was first launched. Regrettably, due to a problem in MS-Outlook setup, most of the e-mails I've been sent have been lost (The path to the outlook archive file was incorrectly specified, outlook happily deleted old e-mails but didn't save them to an archive folder - great!). Apologies if I said I was going to use some information from you to update the site, if it was sent more than 3 months ago, then I'm afraid it's been lost. Please send it again if you can (click here to do that), and I will add your information as soon as possible.

Special thanks go to Tim Cruttenden from the USA and Dennis (my 5th cousin!) & Jenny from New Zealand for their contributions. There are other people who I should thank, but as I've said, I'm afraid that their contributions got lost.

The main reason I set up this web site originally was to keep our friends & relatives around the world up to date with what's going on in the UK branch of the family. Due to various problems, the site didn't get updated so that idea failed! However, I've had lots of -mails from people all around the world who've used the Genealogy to help them research their own families, so that part of the idea did work. Due to various problems related to the terminal failure of my old PC, all the original Genealogy information was lost BUT I've managed to reload it all using a program called "Genius FamilyTree". The Genealogy pages on the site have been generated using "Family Tree Legends" (I would have used this to load the information if I'd discovered it first!). The Genealogy Pages are also published on the Family Tree Legends site, click here to view them.

I've dumped the "Links" page from this version, as no-one was using it anyway so it was just a waste of space. If I'm wrong and you were using my links page, let me know & I'll put it back! I've also added a "fun" section, as my kids tell me that that's what a web site needs. In the fun section I've put a collection of some of the games, movies & jokes that various people have sent me - I've only put up ones that are suitable for kids so parents don't need to worry too much!

I have a few eBooks & Links that I sell on e-Bay (& other on-line auctions). As it's not really part of the site, the links aren't part of the "navigation structure" of the site, but there is a link on the left of this page, and here, that will take you to the eBook page if you want to take a look.

Finally, please note that I am still working on this site and some of the links aren't fully working, but I thought it was about time the old version got replaced (especially as some of the links were broken). Also I'm having trouble getting some of the eMails to display properly on the Fun page (mainly problems with pictures & music) but I'm working on these and will fix the problems eventually! In the mean time, please enjoy the parts of the site that are working.
